What a fruitloop! Some zoomer on the St.Silas egroup attacked me when I pointed out that Bentley admitted "inappropriate" relationships with women in his congregation.
I'm beginning to wonder if there is a St Zoomer. Sadly, some St Silagers will think Todd is great.
I am slightly disappointed that the creotards wont stand up and be counted on David's blog. I would have thought they would have jumped at the chance given the fact that they seem to ban dissenters. Maybe it's cos it's not their bog to ban me from.
Maybe the creotards can use Todd to light the books to set the van on fire to close Gibson St :-)

That Malawi story is scary and bad. Note this comment: "We have proof of American evangelical churches driving the religious fundamentalism in Uganda"
The evangie fundies (tautology?) see Africa as "white unto the harvest" - charismatic BS religion positively THRIVES where there is a precedent of native folk religion, witchcraft, spiritism, animism etc
Its like people are already predisposed to BS
(Which on the other hand is why this sort of BS spectacularly fails in Europe)
Malawi has strong associations with Scotland, through David Livingstone et al.
The Churhc of Scotland is strongly associated with it.
In fact, the CofS possibly COULD help the situation there if they were to speak out - they do have the influence after all. Of course the CofS is busy tearing itself apart over its OWN homophobia (the Scott Rennie case)

You are right about the predisposed to waco stuff. One of my friends told me of several Africans who had seen spirits. That just doesn't happen here.
The catholics are fucking Malawi with the old use a condom and go to hell scheme - some bishops even claim that condoms come pre-infected with HIV. The CoS could definately speak out here.
I've come across a few head cases lately on this subject - some folk are even happy to allow faithfull partners become infected by their non faithfull other halves because of papal indoctrination - sick!
I'm actually considering a visit to Lake Malawi soon to see the greatest fundy fucking example of speciation on earth
