Petition Against Sharia Law

I received this email today concerning Sharia law.
"This campaign is calling on the UK government to recognise that Sharia laws are arbitrary and discriminatory and demands an end to religious tribunals on the basis that they work against equality and human rights. I attended the launch at the House of Lords yesterday and I was dismayed by the accounts of women in Muslim communities in the UK being deceived about their legal rights and status and being pressured into accepting the rulings of Muslim Arbitration Councils. Here is a link to the new website, with a petition and resources. "
If anyone wants to advertise this petition on their blogs, that would be cool.
UPDATE: Another petition can be found here.

There is a petition against the introduction of Sharia law on the UK government petitions site - http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/shariastop/

I would urge as many people as possible to sign. It isn't that effective but it is a start.

Thanks Epeeist, Will do.

I wonder if it is the case that people don't know how vile Sharia law can be. I checked the wiki page on it, and it was rather "sanitised"
